- the verb describes sth that happens more or less instantaneously. (Action has been completed) and a state is in effect as a result.
Two highly frequent verb that well exempify the state in effect meaning:
入ります: to go inside
ついます: to attached to , to come with
グラスにワインが入っています。
バッグに花がついています。
